Logitech Zone Vibe 100 is worth considering for a Bluetooth-equipped work computer when you want a headset with a microphone boom that tucks away between calls. Two details can prevent a mistaken purchase: the standard package connects through Bluetooth, and the noise-cancelling microphone should not be confused with active noise cancellation for your ears.

Does your work computer support the connection?
Logitech's Zone Vibe 100 product details list Bluetooth connectivity and a USB-C charging cable. The package list does not include a dedicated USB audio receiver.
Check that Bluetooth audio is available and allowed on the computer you use for meetings. Some desktop setups need a different connection arrangement from a Bluetooth-equipped laptop, and company policy can matter as much as the physical hardware.
Do not assume an existing mouse receiver will pair with the headset because it carries the same brand. Confirm the specific supported connection before buying any adapter. The similarly named Zone Vibe 125 and Zone Vibe Wireless have their own package and connection details.
The supplied cable is for charging
The official Zone Vibe 100 setup guide explains charging over USB and using the headset with Bluetooth paired while charging. That is not the same arrangement as a wired USB-audio headset.
If your requirement is to plug in a cable and use audio without Bluetooth, choose equipment whose manufacturer explicitly documents that mode. Do not make a USB socket the sole evidence for wired-audio compatibility.
Plan a reachable charging point if you sometimes forget to charge after work. During a trial, check whether the lead comfortably reaches your normal sitting position without pulling on the headset.
Microphone noise reduction is not listening ANC
Logitech describes a noise-cancelling microphone, while its headset comparison lists no active noise cancellation for Zone Vibe 100. The distinction is between processing intended to help the remote listener hear you and a feature intended to reduce the noise you hear through the headphones.
If your main problem is being distracted by a noisy room, do not buy solely on the phrase “noise-cancelling mic”. Compare a headset explicitly offering listening ANC and try the fit in your own environment.
If your main problem is other participants hearing background noise, evaluate the outgoing microphone audio. The microphone feature description does not guarantee that every nearby conversation or keyboard sound disappears.
Try the mute routine before a real meeting
The setup guide documents muting by moving the microphone boom into its stored position. Practise this and check the meeting application's microphone indicator during a test session.
Confirm which microphone is selected after joining a call. A laptop's built-in microphone can remain selected even though audio is playing through a headset. Test listening and speaking separately so that an apparently successful connection does not hide the wrong input device.
For a desk shared between a personal and work computer, include switching between them in your trial. Keep the first test simple, then add the second device once the main computer behaves as expected.
Check comfort over a normal call
Try the headset for the duration of a typical meeting, including with glasses if you use them. Look for pressure, heat, slipping and whether the controls are easy to identify without looking.
Our home-office headset guide can help compare other forms. A separate desk microphone is another arrangement to consider if you already have comfortable headphones and mainly need a better-positioned input.
Who should shortlist it?
Zone Vibe 100 is a candidate when Bluetooth is the intended connection and you value a headset microphone that folds away. It is a poor match for a purchase specifically requiring a supplied USB receiver, wired USB audio or listening ANC.
